Annabelle issue 1 starts off after the events of Icepick issue 4. After receiving a phone call from her sister Annabelle must leave in a hurry to see her. On the way Annabelle is kidnapped by the ancient Sumerian dragon named Kur. Why is a dragon kidnapping a human? How is Annabelle connected to Kur? Can Adam (Icepick) and Luke find her in time to help her? Find out in issue 1. Annabelle’s story doesn’t rely on knowing what happens in Icepick issues 1-4 as it is its own story.
